anatomy of a numerology reading
I get asked all the time, “What is a numerology reading?” People want to know what’s involved and how it works, so I thought I would break it down in this article so that you can get a sense of the process and benefits.
Your Birthdate
It all starts with your birthdate. This little handful of digits is the key to the entire reading. Once you give me your birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy) we’re good to go!
The Chart
The next thing I do is take the numbers of your birthdate and put them into a birth chart. There are many calculations that go into the chart which are revealed in your completed report. Once I’ve made all of the calculations, it’s time to begin the report.
The Numerology Report
This is the document that you will receive and what we’ll go over during our 1-hour Zoom call. These take quite a while to put together, which is why I don’t allow booking the call less than a week in advance. Let’s go over what’s included in the report.
Ruling Number - This is your personality traits and your purpose rolled into one number. It encompasses all that makes you uniquely you.
Your Higher Purpose - Your higher purpose is the reason you’re on the planet. It’s not necessarily your job, although that could be part of it.
Your Gifts and Strengths - Next we go over your gifts and strengths. Those things that come naturally to you and what you use to fulfill your purpose.
Your Challenges - Because of your specific ruling number and your purpose, you may have challenges in one or more areas of your life. We’ll go over those and how you can work to overcome them.
Influences - These are the elements of your birthdate put into grid form. On the grid are three planes. Mental, spiritual and physical. Where your numbers show up on each of those planes determines a lot about how you navigate through life, whether it’s flow and ease, or challenges and what unique perspective you bring to the table.
Seasons - Next we’ll cover your seasons. We each go through 4, 9-year cycles during our lifetime beginning around ages 25-30. During these seasons we experience certain life events, growth, challenges and changes. Each season brings with it its own set of these things. Looking at each season can help bring more clarity to different time periods in your life and depending on which season you’re in, can help reveal the energy you can look forward to coming up in your life.
Personal day/Personal Year/Universal Year - Next, we’ll look at your personal day, your personal year, and the universal energy for the year. These three numbers help you work with your own personal energy as well as the energy for the collective so that you can determine when the best and not so great times are to do certain things, what you can expect in your personal year and how to harness the power of these energies daily.
Alignment and Activation Days - Included in your reading are 90 days of alignment and activation days. Alignment days are specific days that direct you or redirect you back to your purpose. Activation days are your “power” days to do the work in the world that aligns with your soul and purpose. If you need more than 90 days, you’re welcomed to purchase your own Personal Alignment Calendar which will give you your Alignment and Activation Days for your entire personal year.
Name - Lastly we look at your name. Your name carries with it a specific vibration and each of the letters in your name, when calculated in specific ways, reveal innate traits, gifts, how you show up in the world, as well as how the world sees you.
So that’s it! The anatomy of a numerology reading. It can be a lot of information, but it’s so worth it to be able to understand yourself better, get a clear picture of your purpose and understand your gifts and challenges so that you can live your best life. One that is aligned with your soul and purpose.
It’s important to understand that different numerologists will have different methods for doing a reading and different things that they include. This is my particular process and how I deliver readings.
